Due to a dispute after opting out of GMTV to offer their own coverage of the Combined Loyalist Military Command ceasefire in October 1994, UTV have not provided the Northern Ireland regional news service during ITV's breakfast television service. Since the mid 2000s, GMTV's NI news bulletins have been contracted out to Macmillan Media. Here, Vicki Hawthorne (later of UTV and now of Sky News) presents.
