Going Places TV was a 24 hour holiday shopping channel which started broadcasting in March 2003 on Sky channel 669. It was launched by parent travel company My Travel PLC, but proved too costly and was switched off after just 15 months on air on May 6th 2004. Despite this the channel featured decent idents onscreen branding compared with other shopping channels using a strict colour palette of orange and blue.
