Is It Legal was a sitcom written by Simon Nye (the man behind Men Behaving Badly) that was set in a fictitious law firm named Lotus, Spackman, and Phelps in Hounslow. The show aired for three series, the first two on ITV and the third and final on Channel 4 in 1998. Is it Legal won the best comedy category at the British Comedy Awards in 1995.
