This was a jazz showcase broadcast on the BBC and hosted by the iconic Humphrey Lyttelton. It featured jazz greats such as Thelonius Monk, Chris Barber and Dave Brubeck. It ran from 1964 to 1966 and is most certainly the inspiration for "Later…with Jools Holland".
