Karen Petch

Karen Armstrong (19th June 1969 – 21st June 2019), known professionally as Karen Petch, started out in radio before joining Yorkshire Television as a continuity announcer in the 1990s. She then moved to the newsroom as a reporter and presenter for Calendar. She also worked as a relief in-vision announcer on Tyne Tees Television. Sadly Karen passed away in June 2019 after a long battle with breast cancer.
