From presenting Scotland Today to the launch of Channel 5 News in 1997. Kirsty probably had more viewers on Scotland Today! It wasn’t too long before ITV were on the case and a switch was inevitable. All seemed well until an announcement in October 2001 stating that she would return to Channel 5 News in the New Year. Kirsty was immediately pulled from the ITV News!
