Telly Savalas as the lolly sucking, eponymous, bald New York City Police Department Detective Lieutenant Theo Kojak. It aired from October 24, 1973 to March 18, 1978 and was a worldwide hit. Kojak's Greek heritage featured stongly in the show, as both Kojak and Savalas had Greek roots. Also starred George Savalas, Telly's brother as Detective Stavros. "Who loves ya baby?"
