The western states is mountainous. Broadcasters, in order to reach the people have to rebroadcast their signals. Each translator is assigned an ident number and those numbers tell what channel the station can be found on. For example. Channel 13 in Salt Lake is rebroadcast to channel 56 (K56B) to serve the Aurora area. and sent to Channel 42 (K42AE) in the Bicknell area…
