Legends

Legends was an archive-based biographical series, focussing on stars of stage and screen with close connections to London. Series one covered Kenneth Williams, Michael Caine, John Mills, Dirk Bogarde, Frankie Howerd, Norman Wisdom, Vivien Leigh and Dudley Moore. It was so well-received that it was picked up for transmission in many regions outside London, and outside the Carlton empire. The programme on Vivien Leigh took the highest ratings of the run.
