Live at Five

Here’s the Live at Five opening in use. As above, the entire animation is superimposed on the set. The great Don Pardo, arguably NBC’s most well-known staff announcer (as he still introduces Saturday Night Live each week), was the voice of Live at Five during its 1980s heyday. The key word is voice – staff announcers generally did not appear on camera.
