In 1981 BBC regional news said goodbye to Broadcasting House and joined their network production colleagues in New Broadcasting House on Oxford Road. They were the first programme to move into a brand new studio – Studio B which was finished in 1981. As the studio was considered so big, it was shared with other programmes such as Open Air and Russell Harty. A big thanks to BBC North West for supplying us with these clips.
