One more Christmas special – the Lou Rawls telethon for the United Negro College Fund. A “star studded evening” (Malloy was very good at using short phrases in the most enthusiastic manner), this special is loaded with stars. It’s mostly syndicator-produced, but the voiceover is the late, great Lou Rawls.
