Thomas Magnum lives on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, in the "guest house" of Robin's Nest, a posh beachfront estate of Robin Masters a much celebrated but never seen author of several dozen lurid novels, in return for his services as security guard. It ran for 7 1/2 years and was a worldwide hit. This clip is from an early series and features the theme from that era.
