Moonlight on the Highway

Written by Dennis Potter, this play done for ITV’s Saturday Night Theatre strand stars Ian Holm as David Peters, who is obsessed with the singer Al Bowlly, and editor of the Al Bowlly Appreciation Society. He’s been asked to be a researcher on a documentary about Bowlly, but he’s being tormented by demons from his past and a visit to the doctors doesn’t help either.
