South Today 1987 – 1989

The title music and sequence was amended sometime in 1986/1987 with a refined tune and a more refined flying cube. The symbol would fly’s out across the Solent and into the camera. After the headline it spins back out and the words South Today fly round from behind to form under the symbol. Very effective! When the second generation of “The Flying Fridge” tiles were introduced, the titles would change according to the season. Brown for summer and blue for winter.
