Spotlight 1984 – 1987

Sixty Minutes was not popular and was axed in July 1984 in favour of The Six O’Clock News which was introduced on 3rd September 1984. Spotlight retained the music, and the titles remained unchanged barring the removal of the Sixty Minutes logo. The programme move into a regular time slot of 6:35 on 18th February 1985.
