5 News Tonight 2014 – 2016

On 28th April 2014 5 News programming was overhauled. NewsTalk Live was scaped and replaced with 5 News Tonight, with Matt Barbet becoming the main presenters. The presentation was give a minor refresh which resulted in a desk being used once more. In December 2015 Emma Crosby left with Sian Williams becoming her replacement, from the 4 January 2016.

2016 Refresh

On Thursday 11th February 2016, Channel 5 unveiled its new presentation. The News was kept the same but started using the new “5” Logo.
