Not on Your Nellie

Hylda Baker starred as Nellie Pickersgill, who left her native Bolton to help her father Jed (John Barrett) run the Brown Cow public house in Fulham. Nellie did not approve of drinking, and she severely disapproved of her father's lusty and lecherous behaviour and his patent addiction to beer and horses.
