Peugeot Talbot

This advert shows all of the Talbot range in 1984, the Samba, Horizon and the twin Solara and Alpine (both had the same chassis & engines, the only difference being the bodies). 2% (4.1 % APR) in 1984 was quite a good deal, bearing in mind the general interest rate was 9.5 %, provided you could pay the deposit. Sadly, Talbot wasn't long for this world, with it being phased out in 1986 – 1987, as replacement models were Peugeot badged.
