The Price is Right

After a 5-year hiatus, comedian Joe Pasquale takes over as host of ‘Britain’s Brightest Gameshow’ from the late Sir Bruce Forsyth. The Price Is Right. All the old favourite pricing games, such as Plinko and Cliffhanger, were included, as well as some brand-new pricing games. Peter Dickson resumed his role as announcer, with the late Mike Hurley filling in when Dickson was unavailable. The Price is Right was cancelled by ITV in January 2007 after 124 editions, with an average audience of 800,000. The titles were created by Liquid TV with Laurence Oakley giving the show a refreshed title music.
