A New Zealand soap which is set around Shortland Street Hospital a fictitious Auckland City public hospital. Central broadcast the series for 10 years straight, and for most of that time at 5.10pm. Most other ITV stations also broadcast the series during daytime but by 2003 only the Carlton owned stations were screening the series at 2.30pm, but the series was finally axed on 28 August 2003. Bob Preedy introduces this episode to Yorkshire Television viewers.
