Studio 64 – Happy Moorings

This ATV London drama strand from 1964 comprised six original hour-long plays. Among them were "Happy Moorings" by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall, "The Close Prisoner" by Clive Exton, "Better Luck Next Time" by Stanley Mann, "The Devil and John Brown" by Ken Taylor, "A Wicked World" by Giles Cooper and – arguably the best – "The Crunch," written by Nigel Kneale.
