Talbot Sunbeam

Originally a Chrysler, the Sunbeam (77 -81) was the replacement for the Hillman Imp. Based on a cut down Avenger chassis and designed and built at Linwood near Paisley. Rebranded as a Talbot after Peugeot-Citroen (PSA Group) bought Chrysler's European operation. Replaced in 1982 by the Talbot Samba. There's a quick glance of the highly desirable Lotus Sunbeam, which like the Lotus Cortina is now a highly prized classic.
