Terry and June

Terry & June was first broadcast on BBC 1 on 24th October 1979. It was the sequel to the earlier 'Happy Ever After', the pilot of which was part of Comedy Playhouse series in May 1974, with the series running from 17th July 1974 to 25th April 1979. The principal writers, John Chapman & Eric Merriman, felt the series had run it's length, however, the BBC disagreed. So, with some changes to avoid copyright problems, Terry & June was created.
