A completely new style for the TV3 channels was introduced in 2006. Created by the German studio OPIUM effect, the package was dubbed "Nine Degrees". Idents and trailers would end with a sudden nine degree rotation, revealing the TV3 logo. As the TV3 channels began switching from 4:3 to widescreen, they needed new idents. TV3 turned to UK animation studio We Are Seventeen who produced a series of seasonal idents with animated scenes of everyday life. The sudden nine degree slant was kept.
