Ulster Television Ident

Making its debut on Ulster Television’s 21st anniversary, Friday 31st October 1980, came an ident inspired by Anglia’s knight on horseback. The silver used to create the ident was recovered from damaged film stock in the company’s archives. UTV kept its “lollipop” or “telly on a stick” until the summer of 1988.
