The talent open used after the first break. Rolland Smith, formerly of WCBS, came to WWOR in 1987 as the station revamped its news operation. He left in the mid-1990s and returned in 2000 after Ernie Anastos left WWOR to return to WCBS. He’s now weekend anchor and “special contributor” – Harry Martin, from WNYW, now fronts the 10pm weekday news.
