A refresh for UTV Live came to coincide with the relaunch of the networked ITV News in March 1999. Here, Kate Smith presents an afternoon bulletin from the continuity studio. Kate joined UTV in 1983 and was one of the main anchors for Six Tonight, UTV's local evening news programme from 1987 to 1992.
