In 1999, UTV launched an independent (and usually sponsored) sports bulletin on Sunday evenings. The main presenter and producer for was Nigel Carr, a former Irish rugby international. Stand-in hosts for UTV Sport on Sunday included Gary Gillespie, Claire McCollum. Graham Little (now at Sky Sports News) and Neil Brittain. By 2008, without a programme sponsor, UTV's Sunday sports bulletin was integrated into the day's UTV Live bulletin.
