Volvo 340

The 340 was actually the last design of DAF's car making division, before it was taken over by the Swedish firm. It was launched as a Volvo in 1976 and was originally only available with automatic transmission, which used the DAF rubber belt system. Later a manual became available, also a five door version and a saloon. A six cylinder engined sister, called the 360 ran alongside.
