Wales Today / News West

Wales and the West of England have always had close links in the television world, HTV and of course the BBC broadcast a service for both Wales and the West from the Wenvoe transmitter from 1957 to 1964 when the Mendip transmitter came on line. Occasionally these links still occur, to commemorate the completing of the Second Severn Crossing, a special programme was broadcast to both Wales and the West of England.
