A Warning To The Curious

After the success of The Stalls of Barchester on Christmas Eve 1971, Lawrence Gordon Clark was immediately given the go-ahead to do another Ghost Story for Christmas by the BBC. For the second film, he chose A Warning To The Curious, based on M.R. James' 1925 story, which tells the story of antiquarian Paxton, who finds treasure hidden along the East Anglia coast, one of the lost crowns of Anglia, but it has a curse.
