Shown as part of the Omnibus strand on BBC1, this was an adaptation by Jonathan Miller of the M.R. James story 'Oh, Whistle, and I'll Come to You, My Lad' from 1904, and had Michael Hordern as a professor on holiday in Norfolk who comes across a whistle, but it has consequences.
