White Heather Club (Burns Night)

The White Heather Club (1958 to 1968) was really a studio at BBC Scotland's HQ in Queen Margaret Drive, Glasgow. Presented by Andrew Stewart, with the help of the dancers, who were student teachers from Jordanhill College. Derided by media types for presenting a 'shortbread tin' image of Scotland, it was very much loved (and missed) by viewers.
