Edward Woodward, Barbara Kellerman and Robert Lang were the stars of this sci-fi political thriller, of which two series were shown in 1977 and 1978. At the time it seemed very futuristic, and imagined what life would be like in 1990 when the UK would fall under the rule of a tough and oppressive Home Office public control department (PCD). Woodward plays a journalist, Jim Kyle, who carries out a covert attack on the totalitarian regime.
