TVARK is the online TV museum. Preserving a slice of our social history, we document those modest little chunks of television that are never repeated. From the earliest onscreen identifications to pioneering title sequences or scary public information films, there’s lots to explore.
You'll discover the history of television graphics and how TV presentation and branding has evolved over the decades. For 25 years the TVARK team has assembled a comprehensive archive from Betamax and VHS home recordings spanning nearly 4,000 pages and 40,000 clips.
Archive material also includes galleries of rare images and audio clips, and all media is wrapped in our own organisation and research. There's recent content as well in the form of podcasts, talent profiles, the TVARK Forum and our very own teletext service, SPARK. So sit back and enjoy the variety of creative work here, showcasing the talent of the TV production industry.
