After 10 years On Monday 25th March 2013 The travel Channel unveiled a new look, created by capacity.Matt Sheern was given the task of designing, creating and animating the entire graphics package in 2 months, being only provided with the new logo, which was created by Capacity.Capacity stated " The core idea behind the rebrand was to focus on the senses and how they become heightened when you travel, and experience new things. This is emphasised by the use of slow motion in the stings and idents, which give the sense of time slowing down, in the motion of each graphic asset. This was a unique branding exercise in which we had the opportunity to work with our friends at Travel Channel to expand upon their identity- primarily to help figure out a shape to contain the logotype and become the basis for a more memorable graphics system."
