Tara TV

TARA TV was launched on Sky Digital in 1998. It was an Irish general entertainment channel showing a mix of programming plus live news each evening. A joint venture between RTE and UPC, the station ran into financial troubles and closed in 2002 after failing to make any profits. Tara ceased transmission on 5th April 2002.
