Talbot Solara

This advert comes from the year the Solara was launched. The Solara was the saloon sister to the hatchback Alpine, which was European Car of the Year in 1976. It also received a facelift at the same time. It was hoped that Solara, with it's traditional boot might make better inroads into Cortina sales, compared to the Alpine. Both models were dropped from production in 1986.
