Tom and Barbara Good (portrayed by Richard Briers and Felicity Kendal) embark on a journey to transform their suburban dwelling into a self-sufficient allotment, causing consternation among their affluent neighbours, Jerry and Margo Leadbetter (played by Paul Eddington and Penelope Keith). The series ran for 30 episodes over 4 series between 1975 and 1978.
