David and Amy Pearce (Keith Barron and Gwen Taylor), a hardworking couple from the North, decide to treat themselves to a holiday in Spain using David’s redundancy money. During their stay in the beautiful coastal town of Marbella, they encounter the sophisticated, middle-class couple, Robert and Linda Cochran (Neil Stacy and Joanna Van Gyseghem). Things take an amusing twist when David becomes smitten with Linda, initiating a secret affair. 21 episodes were broadcast over 3 series between 1984 and 1986, with an extended special shown on Christmas Day 1986.
