Debuting in 1956, the series, a production by Sapphire Films for ITC Entertainment, graced the ITV network with its presence. Featuring William Russell, it showcased the gallant exploits of the titular Sir Lancelot, one of the esteemed Knights of the Round Table in the era of King Arthur’s rule at Camelot. While predominantly filmed in black and white, the series also included 14 episodes that were produced in colour.
A total of 30 episodes were broadcast over 1 series between 1956 and 1957.
