Peyton Place (1)

The series that served as the springboard for such performers as Mia Farrow, Ryan O'Neal, and David Canary, and became a cult hit. Partially due to the gripping storylines and partially due to the cheesy acting, which usually involved walking towards camera and staring past it and the sudden bombshells dropped into (usually) arguements like "I'm carrying Brads baby!". It ran from 1964 to 1969 and was shown on ITV in selected regions in 1965. This clip however, is from the 1985 TV movie which reunited most of the 60's cast and featured "The Next Generation" of rising stars (!)
