The One To Watch Pointers

In May BBC Two launched its "Galaxy" junction pointers, but BBC One had nothing similar. Until Autumn 2005, when BBC One launched it's "The One To Watch" pointers. Each promo began with BBC One's slogan "The One" opening in shutter form to present a short snatch from an upcoming programme. At the end, the shutters come down again, this time translucent, to reveal the title and broadcast time. The new pointers are voiced live by the announcers; a Christmas version was also produced.
