1978 was a year of change for people in this link. It would be the year the final series of ‘Happy Ever After’ would be broadcast, before June Whitfield (and Terry Scott) filmed it’s successor ‘Terry & June’. For Blue Peter, both Peter Purves and John Noakes (plus Shep) would leave the programme and be replaced by Simon Groom (with Goldie) and Christopher Wenner. Interestingly, What a Night for a Knight, although a repeat, was the first ever episode of ‘Scooby Doo, Where Are You?’.
