Thames Television Start-Up

By 1992, the start up had become a simple ident, followed by a swift run-down of the morning’s programmes. In the first clip, Philip Elsmore sounds like he’s running out of breath as he rushes through this schedule – I particularly like his comment, “What more could you want?” The second clip, voiced by Mark Lipscomb, is the final ever Thames start-up on 31/12/1992.
