The Avengers

These are the original opening titles for the Tara King stories. The first seven Tara stories and the last six Emma Peel stories were shipped to the USA to be shown ahead of the UK broadcast on ITV. Later a second set of titles, Suits of Armour, were shot and added to the remaining stories and were retrospectively added to the early stories. Apart from this story, ‘Split’ which somehow survived. The end titles which match these only survive on the Emma Peel / Tara King handover story, ‘Forget-m-not’
