Blue Peter

Mike Oldfield's version of the theme heralds the arrival of Simon, Sarah and Peter, probably the most remembered (and strongest) lineup of presenters since Peter, Val and John. The item in the titles refers to Prince, a puppy from Goldie's first litter in 1981, who was selected for training as a Guide Dog and who Peter took through basic training. (Bonnie was part of Goldie's second litter in 1986).
