LWT 2000 – 2002 Branding

On 24th March 2000 the hearts idents were replaced with the video wall after constant complaints from LWT staff.

The Idents were updated on 11th August 2001 to reflect the changed to “ITV1”

The End of London Weekend Television – 27th October 2002

On 27th October 2002, it finally happened the end of LWT. A sad occassion but fantastically marked with a tribute to the broadcaster in these start-up and closedown clips. Dave Jeffery recreated the presentation, while Gareth Randall, a ITV presentation producer created the LWT montage of LWT presentation across the years.
