Butterflies

There was a gap of 3 years between the 3rd Series, shown in 1980 and the final series in 1983. There was a new set of titles filmed, although the original theme tune, a version of Dolly Parton's 'Love is like a butterfly' arranged by Ronnie Hazelhurst. was retained. The tone of this series was much darker than before, we learn eldest son, Russell (Andrew Hall) was a bit of a love rat and Ria (Wendy Craig) very nearly left Ben (Geoffrey Palmer).
